The newly elected President of the Foreign Investors Council of BIH, Mr. Branimir Muidža, Country Manager of Heidelberg Cement Group, last week attended a reception at the Office of the President of Republic of Croatia, Mr. Ivo Josipović.
As a respectable businessman and a representative of a large and significant company present in Croatia and BIH, Mr. Muidža had the opportunity to discuss with President Josipović about the Heidelberg Cement Group achievements, which have been made so far.

The British Embassy in BIH: The Chevening-EFT scholarship presented

On January 26th 2012 in Sarajevo, the British Embassy in BIH, the British Council BIH and EFT organized a presentation of the Chevening-EFT scholarships for post-graduate studies in the UK.

At a reception held in the premises of the Armed Forces of BIH Ambassador Nigel Casey and EFT Manager James Nye signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the British Embassy and EFT.

UniCredit announces quarterly analysis of the CEE countries 
"The increase in foreign demand for the products of low technological level is still the fundamental motivation to a steady economic recovery in Bosnia and Herzegovina, despite the structural limitations of the internal growth of economic activity"-said UniCredit's chief economist for Southeast Europe Goran Šaravanja, regarding the publication of UniCredit CEE Quarterly publication for the second quarter 2011th year.

USAID extended warranty on UniCredit Bank loans to small and medium enterprises
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and UniCredit Bank confirmed the continuation of cooperation until October 2016. By signing the Treaty of Guarantee Fund, USAID extended the guarantee on a loan from the Bank's assets for legal entities / persons.

Guarantee applies to entrepreneurial banking, small and medium-sized private companies and is focused specifically on agricultural production, manufacturing and food processing, wood processing and tourism.

Loans range in amount from $ 15,000 to $ 1 million at an interest rate of 7.99%. The deadline for loan repayment is 30.09.2016.g.

Until now, the U.S. government, primarily through USAID, has provided over a billion and a half dollars to support economic, democratic and social progress of Bosnia and Herzegovina.



Gianni Franco Papa appointed as a director of CENTRAL AND EASTERN EUROPE
Board of Directors of UniCredit S.p.A. named Gianni Franco Papa for the Director of the Department of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and UniCredit, which was previously operated by Federico Ghizzoni before being named chief executive officer (CEO) of the Group.
Gianni Franco Papa reports directly to the Managing Director.



Cement Factory Celebrates Birthday
Today, 15 December 2010. year, in the Cement Factory, there was ceremony marking 32 years of successful existence and work of this collective. Traditional gathering was attended by a large number of workers, retirees and family members of deceased and deceased workers.

Mostar-based Hypo Alpe Adria Bank gets a 55 mil. KM injection
The owner of the Hypo Group, The Republic of Austria recapitalised the Hypo Alpe-Adria-Bank d.d. based in Mostar with an additional 55 million KM.

Payment of the second tranche arrived on November 11, 2010 while the recapitalization means high security and stability for both the Hypo Alpe-Adria-Bank d.d. and the Hypo Group in Bosnia, it was said in the bank's statement.

Bosnia and Herzegovina is key market to the Hypo Group and this increase of reserves further strengthens the position of the Group in the country and contributes to better coping with market challenges.

Hypo Alpe Adria Bank dd Mostar and Hypo Alpe Adria Bank ad Banja Luka are quality counterparts of the Austrian economy.
